I worked with my Dad—an experienced software engineer—to design, develop, and publish Algebra Tutor.
Apple and the Apple Logo are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google, Google Play, and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC.
Algebra Tutor has examples and explanations, but the student is required to choose the steps needed to complete each task.
‘Show Me Mode’ allows students to experiment as they learn which steps to take, and why.
In ‘Step Check Mode’, students work on their accuracy as they consolidate their understanding of how their chosen steps are applied.
Before long, students enter ‘Independent Mode’ where they can really take off!
Revision badges fade with time, but do so more slowly when more revision has been done.
